What: Prepare Dinner for Unverferth House Residents

When: April  11, 2010, 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM

Where: Unverferth House, 190 King Ave Columbus, OH 43201

Volunteers Needed: 5. Please register early as this event was popular in the past!

Details: Volunteers will be preparing and delivering dinner to the residents of the Unverferth House. We will be cooking the dinner in the Unverferth House kitchen at 5:30 and then delivering the meals to the individual residents’ apartments at the Unverferth House. We should plan on cooking for around 16 people.

Volunteers will be asked to bring one of the following options:

1.) 1 package spaghetti noodles and 1 jar of chunky vegetable spaghetti sauce (2 people needed to bring these)

2.) Brownies/cookies/other dessert

3.) Garlic bread (either pre-made or to be baked at the house)

4.) 2 bags pre-made salad and 2 salad dressings (e.g., Ranch and Italian)

About the Unverferth House: The Unverferth House serves as a temporary residence for The Ohio State University Medical Center patients and families who live outside Franklin County. The House provides a safe and comfortable environment to families and offers them a chance to share thoughts and emotions with others who may be experiencing a similar situation.
